  • Daily Morning Report                   Date: 19.06.2025
  • NIFTY OUTLOOK: 24812.05  FII: +890.93 cr  DII: +1091.34 cr
  • As discussed yesterday, market behaviour remained on expected lines. Nifty failed to sustain above 24917 and slipped, hovering near the support of 24789 throughout the day, finally closing at 24812.05.
  • A gravestone doji-type candlestick pattern appeared on the daily chart, indicating selling pressure at higher levels. If this pressure persists, a decisive breakdown below yesterday’s low of 24750 may drag Nifty down to 24687–24627. Further supply may lead to a test of 24565.
  • However, on the upside, 24873 to 24937 may act as immediate resistance. A breakout above these levels and sustained trade may push Nifty towards 24997 to 25060.
  • Bank Nifty OUTLOOK:
  • SPOT: 55828.75  PCR: 0.73  Max CE OI: 56000  Max PE OI: 56000
  • On 18th June 2025, Bank Nifty closed at 55828.75, up 0.21% from the previous day. The index moved 421.80 points during the session, making a high of 55933.60 and a low of 55511.80.
  • Technical View on Daily Chart:
  • Key support and resistance levels are 55100 and 56050, respectively.
  • Today’s Technical Strategy:
  • Go Long above 56100 with a stop loss of 55900 and target of 56400
  • Go Short below 55600 with a stop loss of 55800 and target of 55300
  • The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 53.80. A reading below 30 is considered oversold, and above 70 is overbought.
  • Bank Nifty Day SMA Analysis:
  • Bank Nifty is trading above 7 out of 8 SMAs (5, 20, 30, 50, 100, 150, 200 Day) and below 1 out of 8 SMAs (10 Day).
  • One bullish candlestick pattern was identified in Bank Nifty.

  • Macros.
  • 1.Dollar index @ 98.64
  • 2.Vix @ 20.14
  • 3.Crude @ 76.51
  • 4.10 years US bond yield @ 4.396
  • Note:
  • A Wall Street Journal report stated that President Trump informed senior aides late Tuesday that he had approved a strike on Iran but paused the action to see if Tehran would pull back from its nuclear ambitions.
  • On the economic front, the Federal Reserve kept its key policy rate unchanged at 4.25%–4.50% on Wednesday, while maintaining expectations for two quarter-point rate cuts later this year. Chair Jerome Powell noted that inflation in goods is likely to rise this summer as recent tariffs imposed by President Trump start impacting consumer prices.
  • The Fed now projects a slower pace of easing, with rates expected to fall to 3.6% in 2026 (up from 3.4%) and to 3.4% in 2027 (up from 3.1%). The policy statement was balanced—while rate cuts are on the table, inflation projections are higher than earlier.
  • Conclusion:
  • The potential U.S. involvement in the Iran conflict over the weekend could trigger panic in equity and energy markets. Crude oil prices may surge towards $82–85 if tensions escalate. The Fed’s policy, though balanced, indicates a 50 bps cut in 2025, which appears unlikely. We need to stay cautious.
